I’m coming up on my 3 year anniversary living in Harlem. My roommate Sophia and I came across a great floor-through apartment in a brownstone in the historic Mount Morris Park District of the neighborhood after a grueling home search. It ended up being the perfect place for these two California transplants.
The neighborhood is simply delightful with eateries, parks and cultural activities nearby, as well as friendly neighbors. Plus you can’t beat the beautiful architecture of our block—one of the most beautiful in Harlem I dare to say. It’s the perfect backdrop for a quick shoot with these blue pants I picked up at vintage shop on Melrose St. in LA a few years back.
