We’re officially in the final stretch of summer
noooo!!! This summer has completely flown by and I’m not in the least bit ready to bid it adieu yet. Though I love dressing for fall, the upcoming season is just a sign that the bitter cold winter is up next. So, for now, I’m just going to keep being in denial and rotate all my brightly hued summer pieces as much as I can over the next few weeks.
I’ve always been a lover of color. In elementary school, I had a special place in my Hello Kitty coloring kit for the bright blues, deep purples and sun-kissed oranges. So, it’s no surprise that years later once I started picking out my own clothes, the colors in my closet would reflect my colorful hues in my crayon box.
I came across this skirt while browsing my favorite vintage boutique online one day—Jewel’s Vintage Closet. I love the tribal print along with the bright tones. Everything I get from Jewel is really a little treasure all its own.
I wish I could remember the designer of this handmade necklace. I purchased it from a local vendor at a pop-up holiday market in Brooklyn a few years back. If anyone recognizes it, please do leave a comment down below.
