Summer in New York City is my favorite time of year, hands down. The days are longer, the weather is warmer, the free summer concert series are in full swing, and beautiful people swarm the city. Oh and not to mention the BBQs. Summer just isn’t summer without one. And even though Manhattan is known as the ‘Concrete Jungle’, there are still plenty of green spaces (or fabulous rooftops!) around the city to host a proper grilling session.
Last week, my girls A’ngelique and Miranda threw a lovely little BBQ at St. Nicholas Park in Harlem. Their talented photographer friend Elliot Ashby was there to document all the good times and beautiful people. He has such great eye and a real knack for capturing those candid human moments that make photos pop off the pages (or the computer screen in this case).
