I’m usually one who loves to shop, even if I don’t buy anything. But, lately, shopping has been feeling a little more like a chore than therapy and relaxation. So this weekend I shopped my closet instead of the store and found some new ways to wear some colorful scarves in my accessory drawer.
I turned this pretty pink scarf into a top for a day party. The fabric was about 3 by 5 feet in dimension if I’m eyeing it right, so I folded it over a couple times then wrapped it around my torso and secured it with a knot just under my arm…no pins needed.
Sunday I was feeling easy breezy, so I tied this tribal print scarf around my waist adding a little boho vibe to an otherwise bland (and unforgiving) black dress. Do you like?
Oh and, as you can see, I’m protective styling right now with my new box braids. I’m planning to keep these in for at least a month leading up to my next vacation. I’m having fun changing it up a bit and might even keep getting these braids done for the whole summer. If you want to know more about them, let me know and I’ll do a video for my YouTube channel answering your questions.
Cheers to a great week dolls!
