Yesterday was a pretty fantabulous day! I got to merge work and my love for style/fashion by serving as the moderator of ColorComm‘s Fashion & Communications event here in NYC—with panelists like The New York Times’ Online Fashion Editor, Simone Oliver; Bergdorf Goodman’s Social Media Beauty Director, Felicia Walker Benson; and fashion publicist Sandrine Charles. I’ll do a more thorough recap of the event later, but, right now, on to what I wore.
During the week I work in a pretty corporate environment. I’m an integrated marketing communications manager for a top global brand and I’m the executive director of ColorComm in NYC. But that doesn’t mean I have to check my personal sense of style at the door. I’m a girl who believes that believes being fiercely stylish and progressing in the professional world come hand-in-hand, and that pleather can be completely Corporate America office appropriate, if it’s done right.
How do you express your personal sense of style in the office? Leave a comment below. I’d love to hear.
