One of my favorite times of the month in my Harlem neighborhood is when Sugar Hill Market comes to town. Launched earlier this year, the market brings together a curated group of Upper Manhattan’s most talented artisans with goods for local residents to explore and purchase. All the market vendors are hand-selected, guaranteeing that anything you walk away with is unique and of the highest quality.
This week, Sugar Hill Market returns to Harlem on Sunday, August 17 from 12-6 p.m. at “Maison D’Art” (259 West 132nd Street, just east of FDB/8th Avenue).
I’ve done a few posts about the unique pieces I picked up at the market in weeks past, including my Fanm Djanm headwraps and my gorgeous african print skirt from Beriqisu, so I’m really looking forward to stopping by the market this weekend.
Here are some my favorite vendors that frequent the market.
